On Memorial Day weekend, Dr Goedecke ran the Rock Pink 5K race at North Charleston’s River Front Park. She placed 2nd in the 40-49 age group and 5th overall for women out of 500 + runners.
Dr. Goedecke supports the Komen Foundation that helps locally to provide women with access to mammograms and breast cancer screening as well as nationwide for research to find a cure for Breast cancer. She does this in honor of her mother Ellie Agresta, an 8-year breast cancer survivor.
