Hello all,
Most of you know that my daughter Shae was born with a severe heart defect and had a 10 hour open heart surgery at 6 days of life to correct the defect. She was so sick the first month of life and went through so much at such a young age. With the help of the doctors at MUSC and the life saving research that the American Heart Association offers–her surgery was a success!
We are so excited to celebrate Shae’s 5th birthday on Saturday September 25th at the annual Lowcountry Heart Walk sponsored by MUSC and the American Heart Association.
